This was my wedding cake topper. No, I did not sculpt the figures or anything. I wanted to put this up mostly because it was so easy to make and I know there are a lot of brides out there like me that want something kooky in their wedding.
used: -2" luigi figure (~$4 Toys R Us) -2" daisy figue (~$4 Toys R Us) -2" wooden circle (~$.50 Hobby Lobby) -3" tulle (~$3/roll Hobby Lobby) -hot glue -white paint
Simple simple. Paint the wooden circle the color of your cake to blend as a stand. Glue your figures down to the circle and to each other. My Luigi is on one foot, so he leaned and I had to glue his hand to Daisy. Then take your tulle and cut a circle. Fold it over to a half-circle. pinch in the middle of the flat side and glue that pinch to the back of the crown. Done. Custom cake topper for less than $20.
